Crash Chaos in Shanklin: Motorcycle and Car Collide
Emergency crews rushed to a smash on Victoria Avenue, Shanklin, just after 8.30am this morning. Police confirmed a collision between a car and a motorcycle at the junction with St Johns Road.
Motorcyclist Injured and Hospitalised
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight ambulance service treated the motorcyclist at the scene before rushing them to St Mary’s Hospital. It’s still unclear if the car driver suffered any injuries.
Traffic Jam Hits Shanklin Morning Rush
The crash caused major delays on Victoria Avenue, snarling up traffic and disrupting local bus services. Drivers are urged to avoid the area if possible.
