Gulf Air Grounds Dubai Flights Amid Bahrain’s 48-Hour Ban

Bahrain’s national airline, Gulf Air, has suspended all flights to and from Dubai following a government order. The Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) has halted travel between the two hubs for 48 hours amid coronavirus concerns.

Call Now If Stuck in Dubai

The CAA urges all Bahrain citizens and residents currently in Covid-19 affected areas of Dubai to get in touch immediately. Anyone planning to return to Bahrain should call +973 1722 7555 for assistance.

Passengers Urged to Check Before They Travel

Gulf Air is proactively contacting affected passengers through its Contact Center at +973 1737 3737. The airline asks travellers to check the website or call before heading to the airport. They apologised for any inconvenience caused by the sudden disruption.

Safety First for All on Board

The airline stressed it is working closely with Bahraini authorities to take all necessary precautionary and preventive measures. Passenger and crew safety remains their top priority amid the ongoing coronavirus threat.
