A police cordon was set up outside the Tesco Metro on The Vale in Acton, Ealing in the early hours of Monday, January 18. Officers launched an urgent probe after reports of an injured man at the scene.

Man Rushed to Hospital, Condition Unknown

Police and the London Ambulance Service were called at 2:44am following reports of a man hurt near the store. Medics rushed him to a hospital in Central London. His current condition remains unknown.

No Arrests, Investigation Underway

Tesco confirmed the police attended overnight, but the store was closed at the time and officers had left before opening. So far, no arrests have been made as enquiries continue.
