Morrisons has issued an apology to customers. A company spokesman said, “We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety. No other products are affected by this issue.”
What Is a Product Recall?
A product recall happens when a food item poses a risk to consumers. It can be pulled from shelves or recalled from homes. The FSA issues alerts to warn shoppers and advise local authorities on necessary safety actions.
These alerts, sometimes called ‘Food Alerts for Action’, guide officials to protect consumers and ensure unsafe products are removed swiftly.
