Doctor Who’s Ultimate Collection Lands on BBC iPlayer

Doctor Who fans, get ready! BBC iPlayer is launching The Whoniverse on 1st November, a massive hub featuring over 800 episodes of the iconic sci-fi series. This means every Doctor, companion, and monster – all in one place. It’s the biggest Doctor Who archive ever on BBC iPlayer.

Tales of the TARDIS Kicks Off New Era

To celebrate, BBC iPlayer is debuting Tales of the TARDIS, a six-part reunion series bringing together classic Doctor-Companion duos. Fans will see favourites like Maureen O’Brien with Peter Purves, Colin Baker with Nicola Bryant, and many more reuniting on a nostalgic trip through time and space.

Russell T Davies and BBC Execs Spill the Beans

“Celebrating 60 years of Doctor Who by bringing old Doctors and companions back together in Tales of the TARDIS is a dream come true,” said Russell T Davies. “Finally, the term ‘Whoniverse’, coined by fans, gets its official spotlight.”
