Dog kills Hebridean sheep inside Ashdown Forest enclosure
Ashdown Forest officials are mourning the loss of a young Hebridean wether sheep, killed by a dog inside the Gills Lap enclosure.

The attack happened between Sunday afternoon and early Monday morning, authorities confirm.
Warnings Ignored
Ashdown Forest spokespeople slammed dog owners, saying: “There are signs warning dog-walkers on every approach to the enclosure. Please ensure dogs are under proper control and effectively restrained at all times on the Forest.”
What To Do If You Spot Trouble
“If you see a dog chasing sheep or loose inside any grazing enclosure, please call the Rangers immediately on 01342 822846,” they urged.
