A Wimborne couple have landed behind bars for peddling a cocktail of hard drugs from their family home. Grant Putman, 33, and Brooke Marshall, 35, were sentenced at Bournemouth Crown Court on 16 April following a thorough investigation by the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit.

Drugs, Cash and Gear Seized in Major Raid

In a dramatic police swoop on their Old Manor Close house in August 2025, officers uncovered a stash that stunned – including 1.5 kilos of cocaine, 400 grams of heroin, 500 grams of ketamine, two kilos of cannabis, plus around £20,000 in cash. They also found equipment used to package and distribute the drugs.

Guilty Pleas Speed Justice

Putman admitted to multiple offences such as possession with intent to supply heroin and carrying an offensive weapon. Marshall pleaded guilty to drug supply and money laundering. The court threw the book at them, handing Putman six years and six months, while Marshall got three years and eight months.

Police Praise Teamwork and Community Safety

“With the support of Dorset Police, we acted on solid intelligence about drugs being pushed from this residential address in Wimborne,” said Detective Sergeant Stuart Cumine. “The duo raked in serious cash distributing not only drugs but THC products locally and across the UK via post. “Strong evidence forced their guilty pleas. Their illegal trade, which has harmed communities, is now disrupted.”
