Dover Traffic Chaos: New Speed Limits Hit A20
Drivers heading into Dover via the A20 face fresh delays after the Dover Traffic Access Protocol (TAP) kicked in just after 3pm on Tuesday. The new rules slap a 40mph speed limit on all vehicles approaching from the west.
Traffic Lights to Tame Lorry Gridlock
When the jams get serious, temporary traffic lights will control lorries entering the town, aiming to stop port-bound trucks from clogging local roads and the A20 through Dover.
Kent Council Warns of Heavy Freight Volumes
