- Exit M3 at Junction 6
- Take the second exit on the roundabout onto the M3 Spur Road to Black Dam Interchange
- Take the first exit onto the A30 and continue past Basingstoke towards Junction 7
- At Junction 7 roundabout, take the third exit to jump back onto the M3 westbound
Eastbound Diversion: Follow the Diamond Signs
For north or eastbound traffic, look out for a solid diamond on diversion signs:
- Exit M3 at Junction 7
- Take the first exit onto the A30 towards Basingstoke
- Stay on the A30 through Basingstoke to the Black Dam Interchange
- Take the third exit onto the M3 Spur Road to reach Junction 6
- At the roundabout, take the first exit to rejoin M3 eastbound
