Serious Crash Shuts A4 Great West Road in Hounslow
A major road traffic collision has forced a full closure of the A4 Great West Road eastbound in Hounslow. Emergency services raced to the scene after reports of a person trapped in a vehicle.
Rescue Operation Underway
The smash happened around 9:50pm on Saturday, 17 May at Great West Road. The London Fire Brigade, Ambulance Service, and Metropolitan Police responded swiftly. Firefighters used specialist rescue gear to free the trapped driver amid debris scattered across the carriageway.
Paramedics remain on site providing urgent care. The condition of the person trapped in the vehicle has not yet been confirmed.

The A4, a major artery into central London, is now closed eastbound between Henlys Roundabout and Vicarage Farm Road. Transport for London warns motorists to avoid the area and find alternative routes. The closure is causing severe delays across Hounslow West.
