Lorry Smashes Into Motorbike in Dartford Tunnel Chaos
Emergency services rushed to the Dartford Crossing after a lorry collided with a motorbike inside the right-hand tunnel. The crash caused huge disruption on Monday morning.

The incident happened just after 9am when Highways England spotted a broken-down vehicle and alerted Kent Police. A source revealed the motorbike rider had called for help before being struck by the heavy goods vehicle (HGV) inside the tunnel.
Traffic has been gridlocked for over 30 minutes but is now slowly being released.
