Chemical attack sparks emergency rush in Blackheath
Police, paramedics, and fire crews swarmed a Blackheath flat this afternoon after a sinister chemical attack.
Noxious substance hurled through letterbox
A suspect reportedly sprayed a dangerous chemical and slipped a suspicious package through the front door letterbox of a property on Shooters Hill Road.
Five emergency vehicles on scene
At around 2:30pm on Sunday, November 8th, around five emergency vehicles, including two forensic vans, raced to Galton House. The attack is now being treated as a large-scale incident.
Hospital on alert as tests underway
Firefighters and hazardous materials teams arrived at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, set up as a containment and testing centre for the substance.
