Smoke Erupts from Abandoned RSPCA Building in New Addington

Emergency crews rushed to a disused RSPCA property in New Addington after thick smoke was spotted pouring from the building yesterday afternoon.

Blaze Brings Fire Engines and Police to the Scene

The London Fire Brigade scrambled three fire engines from Croydon and New Addington following the 4:30pm emergency call. Police arrived to secure the area as firefighters battled the flames with hoses, working hard to bring the blaze under control.

Cause Under Investigation as Property Remains Cordoned Off

Locals voiced concern seeing smoke billowing from the abandoned animal sanctuary. Officials have cordoned off the site while probing the cause of the fire.
