The family of Anne Sellers have paid a heartfelt tribute after the woman tragically died in a collision in Canterbury.

From Leeds Graduate to Kent University Philosophy Lecturer

Anne earned her degree at Leeds University before dedicating her entire career to teaching Philosophy at Kent University. She was deeply involved in the Canterbury community and served as Lady Mayoress in 2001/2.

Retirement Fueled Passion for Art and Youth

After retiring, Anne earned a degree in Art. She used her talent to lead creative projects with children at Canterbury Cathedral and later at St Paul’s Church, where she was an active member.

Remembered for Her Voice and Warmth

Anne sang in numerous choral works with the Amici Chorus for years. “She was a much-loved family member who will be sorely missed by all that knew her,” said relatives, mourning the loss of a cherished figure in the community.
