Farnborough’s Princes Mead Shopping Centre Evacuated After Toilet Blaze
A fire broke out at Farnborough’s Princes Mead Shopping Centre this morning, forcing a full evacuation. Fire crews were scrambled after flames erupted in a ground floor toilet at 10:54am on April 19.
Shoppers Forced Out as Firefighters Rush In
Three fire engines from Hampshire Fire and Rescue’s Rushmoor station raced to the scene to tackle the blaze. Shoppers were quickly ordered to leave the centre for their safety.
Young Woman Treated for Smoke Inhalation
A woman in her 20s suffered smoke inhalation and received treatment at the scene. Thankfully, no other injuries have been reported.
Shopping Centre Still Closed
Princes Mead remains shut as investigations continue and crews work to fully extinguish the fire. More updates to follow.
