Blaze Breaks Out on Sherfield English Farm – Three Cars and Propane Cylinder Involved
Ten firefighters battled a fierce fire at Sand Hill Farm near Romsey last night. The blaze, which erupted just after 10pm on Thursday, involved three cars and a 47kg propane gas cylinder.
Fire Crews Race to Scene
Fire teams from station 1 and Eastleigh rushed to tackle the flames. A water carrier was also dispatched from Eastleigh to help after the hazardous LPG cylinder was discovered.
Swift Action Prevents Major Disaster
The firefighters quickly contained the fire, which also involved a shipping container, bringing it under control within an hour. No injuries have been reported so far.
