Blaze Tears Through Tunbridge Wells Football Clubhouse

Firefighters scrambled to Tunbridge Wells on Thursday night after a massive blaze erupted at the football club’s clubhouse on Culverden Down. Flames roared as strong winds fanned the fire, turning the building into a fiery inferno.

Arson Suspected in Fiery Attack

Kent Fire and Rescue crews arrived to find the clubhouse fully engulfed. They battled the flames using hose reels and jets, but the fire spread quickly. A source has suggested the blaze may have been deliberate, prompting a joint probe by Kent Fire and Rescue and Kent Police.

Club Devastated but Thankful No Injuries

The area remains cordoned off as investigations continue. The club expressed heartbreak over the damage but relief no one was hurt.

“Tunbridge Wells FC can confirm that there has been a serious fire at the clubhouse on Thursday evening. Thankfully no one was injured. The club would like to thank Kent Fire and Rescue for all of their efforts,” a spokesman said.
