Blazing Car Sparks Chaos Near Port Solent
Firefighters raced to the scene when a car suddenly burst into flames on the A27 Southampton Road, just outside the Hendy Ford dealership near Port Solent.
Inferno Ignites Outside Car Dealership
Several frantic calls flooded the fire service as smoke billowed from the vehicle. An appliance was quickly dispatched to tackle the blaze.
“The vehicle was well alight and crews extinguished the fire,” said a spokesperson for the fire and rescue service.
Diesel Spill Sparks Road Hazard
The blazing car left a dangerous mix of diesel and oil scattered across the road. Highways teams were called in to manage the slick and keep the area safe.
Traffic Chaos Hits Commuters
With one lane blocked, traffic snarled in and around the scene. Luckily, no injuries have been reported.
