Fire crews from Portchester and Fareham scrambled to a road traffic collision in Fareham late on Saturday night. The alarm was raised just after 10.20pm when two vehicles collided on St Catherine’s Way.

Initial reports suggested several people were trapped inside the wrecked cars. Thankfully, the three occupants managed to free themselves before emergency services arrived, avoiding a potentially tragic rescue operation.
Firefighters Secure the Scene and Police Handle Recovery
Firefighters quickly made the vehicles safe on arrival. Police recovery contractors from Boarhunt later removed the damaged cars, clearing the scene.
