Van Goes Up in Flames at Freshwater Bay Car Park
Drama erupted at Freshwater Bay this lunchtime as a green Fiat van burst into flames in the car park of The Albion Hotel.
The blaze broke out just after 1pm on Monday, April 16th, sending thick black smoke billowing into the sky and causing alarm among locals.
Driver Escapes Unhurt
Luckily, the driver managed to flee the fiery scene without injury, as firefighters rushed in to tackle the blaze.
Emergency crews remain on site, assessing the damage and ensuring the fire is fully extinguished.
