A man was rushed to hospital after dangerous fumes erupted from a deadly cleaning mix in a London home. Firefighters say combining limescale remover with bleach sparked the hazardous gas.

London Fire Brigade sprang into action when toxic fumes filled a property. Two crews from Hammersmith fire station arrived fast to tackle the threat.
Firefighters Ventilate and Dispose of Chemicals
The crew safely dumped the chemical cocktail down a drain and ventilated the house to clear the noxious air. The injured man was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service as a precaution.
Fire Brigade Warns: Don’t Mix Cleaning Products
“Household cleaning products do pose a risk when used incorrectly,” a London Fire Brigade spokesperson said.
“Always follow instructions carefully and never mix products. It could produce hazardous fumes. Keep them sealed and away from children.”
