Teen Girl Killed in Horror M5 Crash
Tragedy struck the M5 in Somerset after a 17-year-old girl died in a late-night collision.
Tamzin Hall, from Wellington, was fatally hit by a southbound vehicle between Junction 24 (Bridgwater) and Junction 25 (Taunton) just after 11pm on Monday 11 November.
What Happened?
Before the crash, Tamzin had exited a police car stopped on the northbound side while being transported. Moments later, the fatal collision occurred.
Police Probe Underway
The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) has launched a mandatory investigation into the incident.
“Our thoughts and sympathies go out to Tamzin’s family for their devastating loss,” police said. “A specially-trained family liaison officer is supporting them.”
The family have requested privacy during this heartbreaking time.
