Fire Service Urges Locals to Keep Safe
Avon Fire and Rescue Service has warned nearby residents to keep windows and doors firmly shut amid the choking smoke. The depot is located within the Access 18 industrial estate, just seven miles from Bristol city centre.

Shocking images on social media show flames devouring stacks of parcels and vehicles. Smoke rises so high it’s visible to drivers on the nearby M5 motorway. Videos online reveal locals worried about possible evacuations.
Firefighters Battle Blaze with 16 Appliances
Avon and Somerset Fire and Rescue confirmed they are on scene, stating: “We’re currently attending a warehouse fire in Avonmouth. People living or working nearby are advised to stay indoors with doors and windows closed.” Sixteen fire engines are tackling the inferno. No injuries have yet been reported.
