Reckless driving sparks serious crash in Camden
A driver made a shocking decision to jump the queue on Tottenham Lane, slamming head-on into a Camden council van. The collision has left both the driver and their passenger with life-changing injuries, we can reveal.
Emergency chaos as first responders rush to scene
Emergency services were scrambled just after 8.30pm on Wednesday (November 3). Paramedics and a doctor treated the injured driver at the scene before rushing them to hospital. The fire brigade had to use cutting equipment to free the driver from the mangled BMW.
Police launch probe amid road closures
A road closure remains in place while officers investigate the crash’s cause. A bystander, who wished to stay anonymous, told us the BMW driver “couldn’t be bothered to wait in the queue” and overtook other cars at speed before the smash.
“He hit the council van head-on at some speed. Police and paramedics turned up really quickly,” the witness said.
The Met Police have been approached for comment. More updates to follow.
