A fierce fire tore through a shop in London, ravaging most of the ground floor and leaving smoke damage in the flats above. Luckily, no one was injured in the terrifying early morning blaze.
Firefighters Race to Tackle Flames
The London Fire Brigade was called at 2:28 a.m. Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters from Tooting, Wimbledon, Wandsworth, and Clapham rushed to the scene. They battled the flames for nearly two hours before extinguishing the fire by 4:10 a.m.
Cause of Fire Remains a Mystery
A spokesperson confirmed, “The cause of the fire is under investigation.” Locals remain on edge as officials work to uncover what sparked the early morning inferno.
