Fire guts ground floor of building in overnight blaze!

Early Morning Inferno

The fire broke out just before 1 a.m., tearing through the building’s ground floor. Luckily, two adults and two children managed to escape from their first-floor flat before firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported.

Rapid Response from Fire Brigade

The Fire Department was alerted at 12:47 a.m. and had the flames under control by 2:54 a.m. Crews from Plumstead, East Greenwich 1, and nearby stations rushed to the scene to battle the blaze.
