Isle of Wight MP Warns: Terror Attacks ‘Inevitable’ After Brussels Bombings

Brussels in Chaos After Deadly Blasts

At least 34 dead and dozens injured after three terror explosions rocked Brussels yesterday. Two blasts hit the airport, while a third tore through the Metro, just yards from the European Parliament. Islamic State, also known as Daesh, claimed responsibility and threatened even ‘harder and more bitter’ attacks ahead.

Known Terror Suspects Still on the Loose

The suicide bombers were Belgian brothers Ibrahim and Khalid El Bakraoui. Another suspect believed to be Najim Laachraoui remains at large. All three were on police radars. Belgium had been on high alert after last weekend’s arrest of Saleh Abdeslam, a key Paris attacker from November’s massacre that killed 130 people.

MP Sounds Alarm Over Migrant Crisis and Security

Isle of Wight MP Andrew Turner voiced grim fears for the UK and Europe’s future. “These attacks at the heart of the EU were expected. The terrorists were known to authorities. I fear attacks here in the UK are inevitable,” he warned.

Turner added, “Intelligence services are top-notch, but the migrant crisis makes their job far harder. It’s no surprise Schengen is breaking down. These brutal extremists twist Islam to push their evil agenda. We must never let them win or change our tolerant society.”

Europe on Edge as Terror Threat Grows

  • Up to 5,000 jihadists may be roaming Europe freely, says Europol chief Rob Wainwright.
  • Daesh fighters exploit migrant routes to slip into the continent.
  • Heightened security and public fear are shaking Europe to its core.

The brutal attacks in Brussels are a chilling reminder that terrorism remains a deadly threat, with future strikes all but guaranteed unless action is taken.
