Three fire engines rushed to the scene as crews battled the blaze with breathing gear and powerful hose reel jets.
One person, luckily outside when the fire broke out, was treated for smoke inhalation with oxygen before being handed over to SECAmb paramedics.
Kent Fire & Rescue Service’s Volunteer Response Team also showed up to offer crucial advice and support to those affected.
The fire is believed to have started in the living room, but the exact cause remains a mystery.
