Blazing Trailer Puts Lambs in Danger
Two fire engines raced to the scene as a trailer carrying lambs caught fire on the motorway. Firefighters, decked out in breathing apparatus, tackled the blaze with hose reel jets.
Quick-Thinking Crews Rescue Animals
No one was hurt in the incident. The trailer was swiftly detached and the terrified lambs were led to safety. Once the flames were doused, crews carefully helped load the animals back onto the trailer.
Road Closed, Then Reopened
The carriageway shut down while firefighters battled the fire. Officers from kent-police/" title="Kent Police" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" data-wpil-monitor-id="5545">Kent Police and the Highways Agency also attended the scene. Thankfully, the road has now reopened and traffic is moving freely again.
