High-Tech Drone Pinpoints Allotment Fire in Dover

Drone Tech Saves Valuable Time

Local callers spotted flames but couldn’t pinpoint the exact spot. That’s when Kent Fire and Rescue’s tech specialists stepped in, flying the drone over Snargate Street to locate the fire quickly and help combat the spreading flames.

Cause Under Investigation

The origin of the fire remains unclear and is currently being investigated. Meanwhile, multiple fire crews tackled the blaze after the drone’s precise guidance.

Kent Fire and Rescue has been approached for further comment.
