At around 1:25 p.m., a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress collided with another plane during the Commemorative Air Force Air Show. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a wing detach mid-flight as the aircraft soared over the airfield.

Emergency Crews Rush to Scene

Dallas Police and Fire Rescue teams have been scrambled to the scene. Officials have yet to confirm the condition of the pilots or if anyone on the ground was hurt by falling debris.

“The wing just came off as it flew over,” said a stunned witness.
