Chaos on the M25 as Protesters Climb Motorway Gantries
Protesters have boldly laughed in the face of police and managed to scale multiple motorway gantries on the M25, sparking massive traffic chaos this morning (7 November).
Gantries Seized at Multiple Junctions
- Junction 6 towards junction 7
- Between junctions 8 and 9
- Between junctions 13 and 12 southbound
- Between junctions 13 and 14
Officers are currently tackling one protester clinging to the gantry near junction 6 northbound. The protester removal team is gearing up to bring them down safely.
M25 Shut Between Junctions 6 and 7 Northbound
National Highways has shut the M25 northbound from junctions 6 to 7 to protect safety amid long delays and congestion stretching across the area.
Drivers are urged to avoid the affected stretch if possible.
