Emergency crews leapt into action off Folkestone this Saturday evening (May 6). A search and rescue helicopter from Lydd joined forces with lifeboat crews and a coastguard team to assist a small boat reportedly taking on water.

The RNLI lifeboat helped tow the vessel to the beach at The Stade. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported so far.
