Fatal Crash Shuts North Street
Police are hunting witnesses after a fatal collision on North Street, Brighton, just before 1am on Saturday, October 8. A pedestrian was hit by a car, sparking a major emergency response.
The road was sealed off for hours, reopening only at 5.35am following recovery and investigation work.
Man Dies in Hospital
The injured man was rushed to hospital by ambulance but sadly later succumbed to his injuries.
Police Seek Witnesses and Footage
Sussex Police are urging anyone who saw the incident or has CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around the time to come forward.
