Shock at Liverpool’s iconic Britannia Adelphi Hotel after a 30-year-old man was found dead on Friday afternoon.
Body Discovered at Historic Adelphi
Emergency services rushed to the Adelphi Hotel on Ranelagh Street at around 1:30 PM Friday. Police found the man’s body inside the famed city centre spot.
Heavy Police Activity and Ongoing Inquiry
Forensic teams swarmed the area, entering the hotel to collect evidence. Guests spotted officers questioning staff and visitors at reception.
Merseyside Police said: “The death is currently being treated as non-suspicious. A file is being prepared for the coroner. The man’s next of kin have been informed.”
Despite the investigation, the Adelphi stayed open with people coming and going throughout the afternoon.
