Police have cordoned off a footpath on Baildon Road, Bradford after a man was discovered with serious facial injuries.

At around 4.15pm on Tuesday, ambulance staff found a 50-year-old white man, stocky build, injured near the junction with Rockcliffe Avenue. He was rushed to hospital for urgent treatment.

Detectives are probing the attack and appealing for anyone who saw the incident to come forward.
The injured man was last seen wearing black jogging bottoms, a dark hooded top, and white trainers.
