Man Found Dead in Maidstone’s Mote Park

A man in his 20s was found dead in Mote Park, Maidstone early Saturday morning, Kent Police have confirmed. Officers were called to the scene near Willington Street at 5:20 am on July 27 after a body was reported in the park.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Kent Police were joined by South East Coast Ambulance crews as they cordoned off a section of the park. A police spokesperson said paramedics and officers confirmed the man was deceased on arrival.

“The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a report has been sent to the coroner,” the spokesperson added. The next of kin have been informed, but the exact cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
