Man in His 40s Found Dead in Rotherhithe
A man in his 40s was discovered dead at a home in Helsinki Square, Rotherhithe, southeast London, yesterday morning. Police and London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene after being called at around 10:15 a.m. on October 1.
Next of Kin Informed, No Suspicion of Foul Play
Tragically, the man was pronounced dead shortly after emergency crews arrived. The Metropolitan Police said the death is being treated as “unexpected” but currently no suspicious circumstances have been found.
“Police were contacted by London Ambulance Service at approximately 10:15hrs on Tuesday, 1 October to reports of a man, believed aged in his 40s, who had been found deceased at an address in Helsinki Square, SE16. His next of kin have been informed. The death is being treated as unexpected/unexplained but there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances at this time.”
Investigation Underway
An investigation is ongoing, with authorities preparing a file for the coroner. So far, there is no indication that foul play was involved in the man’s death.
