Blazing Cornfield Fire Doused in Ramsgate
Firefighters have put out a fierce cornfield blaze that ignited on Newlands Lane, Ramsgate, on Saturday, September 7, 2024. Kent Fire and Rescue sprang into action quickly to tackle the flames.
Four Engines Battle the Blaze
At peak chaos, four fire engines roared to the scene. Crews battled the fire with high-pressure hose reel jets and beaters. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
