Firefighters Battle Blaze with Multiple Units
Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service (LFRS) rushed multiple fire engines, an aerial ladder platform, air unit, and incident command unit to the scene. Crews unleashed two jets of water to tackle the fierce fire and stayed late into the evening to keep the flames under control.
Police Join Fire Service in Urgent Investigation
The morning after the blaze, detectives were seen combing through the site. Lancashire Police have teamed up with LFRS to launch a joint probe into what caused the devastating fire at the derelict hotel.
