Just when you thought Matt Hancock couldn’t get any cheesier, he’s gone and done it. The former MP has hired a London ad agency to help roll out his latest brand venture – Matt Hancock’s Cheddar.
Mature, Tangy & Totally British
Boasting a mature, tangy flavour, Hancock’s cheddar aims to cash in on his jungle fame. But the big question remains: are Brits ready to find Matt Hancock in their fridge?
“Cheese for the People”
Independent creative agency isobel crafted the brand, which proudly features Hancock’s face alongside the cheeky tagline: “Cheese for the people.”
“Everyone loves cheese so why not create a cheese brand for the people?” an isobel spokesperson told us. Hancock’s goal is to ‘normalise politicians’ and make them more ‘relatable’ through this tasty venture.
Launch and Marketing Blitz
The cheese officially hits shelves nationwide on Saturday, April 1st. It’ll be backed by a full print, social media, and out-of-home ad campaign – all whipped up by isobel.
