Matt Hancock Launches Own Cheese Brand – “Matt Hancock’s Cheddar” Hits Shelves
Just when you thought Matt Hancock couldn’t get any cheesier, the former MP has taken it literally. He’s hired a London ad agency to roll out Matt Hancock’s Cheddar, his very own cheese brand.
Mature, Tangy, and Full of Hancock
Described as mature, tangy, and bursting with Britishness, Hancock’s new dairy delight aims to cash in on his infamous public profile. But the big question: are shoppers ready to see Hancock’s face on their cheese?
Branding Shenanigans: “Cheese for the People”
Independent creative agency isobel masterminded the packaging, plastering Hancock’s mug alongside the cheeky slogan, “Cheese for the people”.
“One of Hancock’s primary aims is to ‘normalise politicians’ and make them more relatable,” said an isobel spokesperson. “Everyone loves cheese, so why not create a cheese brand for the people?”
Launch Date and Marketing Blitz
The cheese drops nationwide on Saturday, April 1st. Expect a full-throttle campaign with print, social media, and out-of-home ads – all cooked up by isobel.
Whether this plucky politician’s cheese will melt UK hearts or leave a bitter taste remains to be seen. One thing’s for sure: you’d be a fool not to give it a nibble…
