The Met Police have launched a frantic search for Bashir Marhoon, a vulnerable 35-year-old who vanished two days ago from Russell Square, Camden. He was last spotted by carers at 6pm on Saturday, May 24.

Concerns Grow Over Bashir’s Safety
The Metropolitan Police warn Bashir “lacks the capacity to fully understand what he may be doing,” making his disappearance urgent and potentially dangerous.
Detective Chief Inspector Sarb Kaur said: “We are very worried about Bashir’s safety and urge anyone who may have seen him to contact police. Please approach Bashir with care — he may be confused and suffers from learning difficulties.”

Bashir’s mother, Faridah Marhoon, made an emotional appeal:
“We are very worried as he is very vulnerable and often rides trains and buses to the end of the line. He loves public transport and may be travelling around London using his Oyster card.”
