Missing Teen Zahra Sparks Major Hunt in West Sussex
Police are urgently searching for 16-year-old Zahra Mathew-Evans, who vanished from her Angmering home on Tuesday just before 2pm. Concern is mounting as the teenager has no mobile phone with her, leaving her whereabouts a mystery.
What We Know About Zahra
- Age: 16
- Height: Around 5’3”
- Appearance: White Asian, very long, straight black hair
- Last seen wearing: Black leggings, white short-sleeved crop top, and white open-toed heels with four-inch heels
Where Could Zahra Be?
Officers warn Zahra might have links beyond Sussex – including Essex, Cambridgeshire, and Suffolk. This broadens the search area and raises the stakes.
Police Plea
“We’re extremely concerned for Zahra given her age and vulnerability, especially as she does not have a phone on her,” said PC Heather Mackay from the Sussex Police Missing Persons Team.
“If anyone has information on Zahra’s whereabouts, please get in touch immediately.”
