Major Crash on A20 in Kent Leaves Multiple Injured

A serious three-vehicle smash involving a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) on the busy A20 Ashford Road near the Faversham Road junction has sparked a major emergency response this afternoon.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Shortly after 3pm on Monday, five ambulances, four fire engines from Kent Fire and Rescue Service, and crews from Kent, Sussex and Surrey ambulance services flooded the scene. Air ambulance doctors are treating multiple casualties on site.

Woman Rescued From Vehicle with Babies Onboard

Kent Police confirmed a woman was trapped and had to be cut free using extrication equipment. She was travelling with two babies and two other women inside the same vehicle.

The A20 remains shut in both directions as detectives launch a full investigation. Drivers are urged to find alternative routes to avoid the area while emergency crews deal with the aftermath.
