Commuters beware! The Dartford Crossing will close overnight for a week of vital maintenance and resurfacing from Monday, February 26 to Monday, March 4. If you use this key route, plan ahead to dodge delays.
What’s Closing and When?
Nightly closures will hit:
- Northbound East Tunnel
- A282 Southbound to A2 Eastbound link road
- Northbound West Tunnel (for one night only)
Closures will run between 10pm and 5.30am, except on Saturday night when timings vary.
Daily Closure Breakdown
- Feb 26–27: Southbound link road & Northbound East Tunnel shut
- Feb 27–28: Southbound link road & Northbound East Tunnel shut
- Feb 28–29: Southbound link road & Northbound East Tunnel shut
- Feb 29–Mar 1: Southbound link road & Northbound East Tunnel shut
- Mar 1–2: Southbound link road & Northbound East Tunnel from 11pm
- Mar 2–3: Northbound West Tunnel closed
- Mar 3–4: Northbound East Tunnel closed
