Shocking images reveal the moment a car smashed straight through a hotel window in Bromley. The incident happened at the Travelodge Hotel on London Road on Thursday afternoon, sparking a major clean-up operation.
London Road Shut as Emergency Services Respond
Police closed part of London Road in both directions while emergency services removed the vehicle and builders secured the damaged building. Passersby stopped to snap photos of the wreckage after the hotel was evacuated.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called to the Travelodge Hotel on London Road just after 2pm following reports of a car driven through a window. No arrests have been made.”
No Injuries Reported Despite Dramatic Crash
The dark-coloured car smashed through a huge glass window, shattering it into pieces and damaging the wall. The force also brought down the curtain pole onto the vehicle. Despite the chaos, no injuries were reported.
Police confirmed officers attended the scene promptly after receiving the crash report at 2:11pm on Thursday. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
