Officers rushed to Folkestone Road near the railway station on Saturday 9 December 2023 at around 6.50pm after a collision involving a black Ford Focus and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a man in his 50s, was rushed to a London hospital but sadly died from his injuries several weeks later.
Police Hunt Witnesses to Deadly Crash
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is probing the incident. They have been reviewing CCTV footage and believe there are still witnesses in the area who have not come forward.
