Headteacher Pulls Plug on Easter Traditions
Headteacher Miss Mander informed parents in a letter that the decision came after “careful consideration and discussions with our school community.” The school says it will ditch traditional Easter events to better reflect its “rich cultural diversity.”
Instead, the school plans new celebrations like Refugee Week in June and wants to earn an official School of Sanctuary status.
