UK Covid Testing Hits Half a Million – But Death Toll Rises
By 9am on April 22, the UK smashed through 559,935 Covid tests completed. On April 21 alone, 22,814 tests were carried out. So far, 411,192 people have been tested.
Out of those tested, a staggering 133,495 came back positive for the virus.
Death Toll Climbs to 18,100
Tragically, as of 5pm on April 21, 18,100 Covid-positive patients who were hospitalised have died across the UK.
